About me

I first touched clay in 2008 in a workshop with Mieke Selleslagh.

This experience encouraged me to start attending evening classes in the Art Academy in Halle in 2011 with Mieke Everaet where I graduated in 2018.

In 2015 I was given the overall award for my work by the Friends of the Art Academy.

While I  was a student in Halle I followed different workshops with renowned international ceramic artist like

Anima Roos (B), Rudie Delange (B), Fritz Rossmann (D), Eric Astoul (la Borne -Fr), Tineke van Gils (NL), Willy van Bussel (NL), Patia Davis (UK), Chris Keenan (UK) and Shozo Michikawa (JP), Joëlle Swanet (B), Eric Landon (DK), Petra Bittl (D), Fernand Everaert (B), Thomas Berktold (A)

My work was selected for different Art Routes in Belgium , in 2016 in Kortemark and Bellingen, in 2017 in Kortrijk and in 2018 in Knokke.

My work is on show in Artine Galery in Ostend.

I was selected for the International Exhibition  2018- 2019  ‘Porselein Spiegelingen – Porcelain Reflections, Students Meet Masters’, curated by Patty Wouters.

In September and October 2019 I followed a workshop Porcelain Throwing in Tajimi, Japan at HO-CA under the guidance of master Shibata Setsuro and his assistant Chiharu Tawada.

In November 2019 I was selected to participate in the exhibition for the SASAMA International Ceramic Art Festival (ICAF SASAMA).

In April 2022 my work will be on show in GaleRiget in Faaborg, Denmark.
